Pub crawl, in a responsible way of course
The Rotermann Quarter not only offers great food and shopping experiences, but is also renowned for its trendy and relaxing cocktail bars, where you can enjoy a drink and a chat.
Below we bring you the best spots in the city centre to enjoy creative drinks and unique flavours, and where no one will give you a dirty look if you order your favourite cocktail … before five o’clock.
Stalker
Stalker, located in the Ajamaja, has a cocktail menu to suit everyone – time-honoured classics from Negroni to Caipirinha, as well as Stalker’s own signature house cocktails Sugar Daddy and Shy Martini. Stalker’s long bar counter also has 16 (!) different beers on tap, and there’s no shortage of food on the menu, featuring both fish and meat dishes, as well as a wide range of vegetarian options.
Take me thereSiesta Tapas Bar
Siesta is a tiny, cosy place to eat and drink in true Spanish style, with traditional Spanish food at the heart of the menu, complemented by a quality selection of wines. Siesta’s friendly and welcoming staff create a cosy atmosphere to enjoy good company, delicious drinks and authentic tapas. Keep an eye out for the Siesta dance nights, which are said to be able to get even the stiffest of hips moving (with the help of one to three cervezas, if necessary).
Take me thereChicago 1933
Imagine the 1930s, the United States, Greta Garbo and Marlene Dietrich… This is the vibe of the cosy and sophisticated bar-restaurant Chicago 1933, which is unique in that it is the only entertainment venue in Tallinn that plays live music or hosts different shows seven nights a week. The music only complements the menu and drinks offered by Chicago 1933, which features international cuisine, beautiful cocktails and a superb selection of wines.
Take me thereOm.house
When an Asian-inspired restaurant wins the award for best non-alcoholic cocktail at Tallinn Cocktail Week, you know the place definitely knows what it’s doing. That’s exactly what Om.house is – a place with an open kitchen and an exciting bar that aims to combine both Asian flavours and the Western approach we’re familiar with in its gastronomic journey. Whether you order a Basil Smash with a balanced flavour profile or a tropical Smooth Bumbu, a taste experience is guaranteed.
Take me thereFlamm
Are you looking for a cozy and pleasant place to enjoy good wine and excellent company? Flamm is the epitome of simplicity in the best sense. The main attraction here is Flammkuchen, marvelous flame-cooked pies originating from Alsace, which are prepared right before your eyes in a blazing oven. These delicacies are complemented by a well-thought-out wine selection that enhances the flavors of Flammkuchen and offers a memorable taste experience as the main character.
