GOBI

“Gobi” is traditionally a round wooden platter used for sharing meals. Sharing a meal from the Gobi signifies the utmost hospitality and trust.

In order to create authentic flavors at GOBI restaurant, young and promising Georgian chefs are running the kitchen. They are familiar with traditional cuisine while passionately embracing the idea of modernising classics. Leading the kitchen is Luka Khinkiladze, who started his career as a chef at a young age and honed his skills in some of the world’s best restaurants listed in the Michelin restaurant guide. He has curated several restaurants in England, Georgia, and Italy, and was part of the prestigious Georgian team at the Bocuse d’Or culinary competition in 2020.

The cuisine at GOBI is fusion-style, interpreted as fine dining with an authorial touch. The menu features traditional dishes from various regions of Georgia, reimagined by the head chef in a contemporary style. These dishes are prepared using old recipes, authentic ingredients, and specially imported spices from Georgia. Bread, pies, and the most important and traditional dish of Georgian cuisine, khachapuri, are made fresh at GOBI daily.
